Whitehorse is the capital city of Yukon. You might feel that this is a small and sleepy town and too cold for a vacation. But, this town will make you fall in love with the frost. It has some amazing restaurants, great art scenes, and the only thing I wish that I had more time. Take a quick look at the things that you can do when you are in Whitehorse city.

  • Hike at Miles Canyon

I came across a beautiful hiking trail at the outskirts of the city. Miles Canyon is an incredible canyon which came to be because of Yukon River. There are other hiking trails here. Some of these loop into the short. Also, there are some short ones. Irrespective of what you choose, make sure that it is sublime.

  • Canoeing on Yukon River

My visit to Yukon would have been incomplete if I didn’t visit the Yukon River. This was a great way to explore the landscapes. I started on the Whitehorse riverbank. You can either go on three-day voyages or half-day adventures. The stunning scenery around will surely mesmerize you.

  • Ride a Horse at Fish Lake

Visit Sky High Wilderness Ranch to take a horse ride. It is an only thirty-minute ride from Whitehorse. Ride a horse along Fish Lake. The ride amongst pine trees was relaxing and peaceful. It was a great experience. The picturesque of snow-capped mountains will give you a sense of fulfillment.

  • Gaze at the Midnight Sun

In case you visit Whitehorse during summer time, you are going to have a wonderful experience. Because you will be able to get a view of the stunning midnight sun. You might be tempted to fall asleep at 10 pm but keep your eyes open for a couple of hours to get a view of the sun of the sun at midnight.

On my trip to Waterloo, I came to realize that has more to offer than meets the eye. It offers several attractions. The city organizes many festivals and events that you can be a part of. The incredible landscape of Waterloo has truly impressed me. Irrespective of whether it an extended or day trip, you are surely going to love it. Want to get a taste of real Ontario, visit Kissing Bridge Trailway. The river and wetlands will give you the true essence of Ontario. The trail runs through the south of Ontario. You can run, hike, and bike here. The stone surface makes it easier for strollers and wheelchairs to pass through.

  • Waterloo Public Square Summer Campfire

Campfire has been an absolute favorite since school time. Take your friends or family to Waterloo Public Square to have a gala time. I visited with my friends, listened to music, had a beer, and sang all through the night. Simply take a warm hoodie, a blanket, drinks, and food and you are all set.

  • Acoustic Noon Concerts

Enjoy live music on your trip at Acoustic Noon concerts. This too is at the Waterloo Public Square. I saw many local artists playing great music. I spend some quality time with my friends enjoying the food and music.

Morelia Highlights The Beauty Of Mexico

I got the opportunity to travel to Morelia recently. It is the Mexican State of Michoacán capital. You’ll find here the colonial architect which is impressive and the narrow streets of the city have some well-preserved buildings of 17th and 18th century from the characteristic pink stone of the region. There is one building present that imposes the Morelia Cathedral of baroque-style. Plaza de Armas is the elegant and soaring twin towers that over the main square of the city. The places I visited in the city and liked the most are:

 

  • Morelia Cathedral

 

When I visited this Roman Catholic cathedral, I got impressed after having the look of the architecture. The cathedral is located at an altitude that gives it the height and its architecture is so impressive that you can see its beauty from very distant. The interior of this Cathedral is as impressive as the exterior. There are paintings, stonework and sculptures present that are amazing.

 

  • Morelia Zoo Aquarium

 

This is a massive zoo and one of the main attractions of the city. This zoo has some spectacular specimens of animals as well as fishes which will increase your curiosity to know more about them. I was amazed to see the diversity here. If you are traveling the city with family do not skip this place. You would also love to get the pictures clicked here with animals and fishes as they are extremely friendly. Some of the other spots that I have covered in Morelia are Fuente Tarascas, Museo Casa Natal de Morelos; this is the birthplace of Jose Maria Morelos, Michoacano Regional of Museum, Dr. Nicolás León Calderón. It displays the architect of the 18th century. Rosas garden, Palace Michoacan State Government, etc. Lastly, do not forget to taste the mouthwatering cuisines of Morelia. It is as wonderful as this place is.
